He succeeds Felicia Bush, who is retiring in September after 20 years of dedicated and transformative service to the community. To ensure a seamless and supportive transition, Felicia will remain with the organization as a strategic advisor over the coming months.

Warren is a Certified Public Accountant with over 35 years of experience in leadership, strategic planning and financial management. Having spent a significant portion of his career guiding Life Plan Communities and non-profit organizations, he deeply understands the unique needs of a resident-centered environment. His warm, collaborative approach aligns perfectly with Kendal at Lexington’s Quaker-based values of equality, integrity and community.

Kendal at Lexington Chief Executive Officer Adam Day expressed his enthusiasm for the new addition to the leadership team.

Hiring a CFO is about more than just numbers; it’s about finding a partner who is passionate about our mission. Warren joins us with both impeccable financial credentials and a deep commitment to the community’s shared values,” Adam shared.

Warren is eager to embrace his new role and connect with the residents and team members who make the campus so special.

I am honored to join Kendal at Lexington at such a pivotal time. As a non-profit, financial strength is a direct reflection of our ability to serve residents,” Warren stated. “I look forward to working with this dedicated team to ensure we are stewards of our resources, investing strategically to enhance the quality of life for residents while maintaining long-term sustainability.”

The Kendal at Lexington family extends its deepest gratitude to Felicia Bush for her two decades of unwavering empathy, unity and leadership. Since joining the community in 2006, her strategic foresight has guided the organization through multiple campus expansions and a vital debt refinancing initiative. Felicia leaves the organization in a remarkably strong financial position, empowering residents to confidently write their own stories for years to come.
