Jennifer Karsten Joins Kendal to Support Governance Excellence

Kendal proudly announces Jennifer Karsten’s appointment as Governance Advisor. This move supports the organization’s commitment to thoughtful and effective governance and reflects Kendal’s Quaker heritage.

Equipped with a Ph.D. from McGill University and a remarkable track record in leadership and governance roles, Jennifer brings an in-depth understanding of organizational dynamics and a passion for fostering inclusive and transparent decision-making processes.

Jennifer’s role will encompass developing model governance practices, crafting board guidelines, and providing training, support, and resources. She will evaluate and support governance practices for The Kendal Corporation and across all Affiliates in the Kendal System.

She has extensive experience, including executive directorships, board memberships, and strategic consultation. A lifelong Quaker, she emphasizes integrity and equity to foster high-trust environments and manage the potential conflicts that can be inherent when people work in collaboration.
