September 27, 2024 —Howard Braxton, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Sales at The Kendal Corporation, has been appointed to the board of Friends Services Alliance (FSA). FSA is a professional association for values-aligned organizations that serve older adults. The organization supports employees and governing boards in governance, compliance and risk management, and diversity and equity efforts.

A seasoned professional, Howard has over 35 years of career experience in sales and marketing management in senior living and health care. His experience spans work with a variety of aging services providers, including Life Plan Communities and Life Plan at Home, independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing and rehabilitation communities, and home health care services.
At Kendal, Howard’s primary responsibility is to serve as a resource for Kendal Affiliates and manage Kendal’s marketing, design, and communication team. He guides Affiliates through on-site education, assistance with strategy and occupancy development, marketing strategies, community outreach, communications and public relations and event planning. He also supports expansions and new development projects.
