October 15, 2019 —ADVANCE for LTC Management has posted an article on its website, titled “Data Analysis Helps Reduce Readmissions,” highlighting how Barclay Friends, a Kendal Affiliate, used a process-improvement process to sharply reduce hospital readmission rates among residents.
Sarah Matas, Resident Services Administrator for Barclay Friends, and Peggy Sinnott, Kendal’s Director for Health Services, worked closely on the project with Ted Kirkpatrick, a member of the Kendal Corporate team certified in Six Sigma.
