Kendal is a leader in the field of aging. As we look ahead and recognize the increasing number of older adults, communities like Kendal that support aging adults will be key to help ensure services and resources are available to all
and that everyone can age in a space that is safe and meets their needs. We sustain Kendal’s mission:
“Together, transforming the experience of aging.”
Kendal Charitable Funds has provided support to Affiliates to address the challenges of a postpandemic
environment. For example, we are currently underwriting a Kendal Affiliate paid
Administrator-in-Training program because we recognize that the workforce shortage is a challenge.
Kendal Charitable Funds have provided support to the wider world of aging by supporting other nonprofits
such as the Academy of Hope Adult Charter School that serves adult learners seeking economic
self-sufficiency for themselves and their families through their Healthcare Career Pathways program
which includes Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) training.
