Life Enrichment: ONEcomposer promotes and celebrates musicians whose contributions have been historically erased

Two members of the Cornell music department have organized an online series called ONEcomposer, with programs on the first Sunday every month at 4:00 pm. This year the focus is on the life and work of Florence B. Price, African American classical composer, pianist, organist, and teacher. On October 4 at 4:00 pm Dr. Baruch Whitehead, who founded and directs the Dorothy Cotton Singers, presents “Black Music Matters.” For more information and to register for this and future programs consult www.onecomposer.org.
