Chautauqua Institution. A unique mix of arts, lectures, interfaith worship & programs

Posted 6/22/2020

Chautauqua Institution is a community on the shores of Chautauqua Lake in southwestern New York state that comes alive each summer with a unique mix of fine and performing arts, lectures, interfaith worship and programs, and recreational activities. Chautauqua as a community celebrates, encourages and studies the arts and treats them as integral to all of learning. With symphony, opera, theater, dance, visual arts and a renowned music school, Chautauqua produces an eclectic mix of programming that can be found nowhere else.

Older adults can register for 90 free days of access to Chautauqua’s online series of lectures, worship events, performing and visual arts and recreation programs. The service costs $3.99 a month (or $45/year) to use after the initial 90-day period, with proceeds going to Chautauqua for the development of future programs. Click here to start your free trial.
