Individuals are finding ways to make their socially distanced walks outdoors more fun. A modified version of “Where’s Waldo” / visual scavenger hunt can be used for individuals at all levels living on a campus. A variety of ideas on how to execute a different kind of scavenger hunt (outside or even from the privacy of someone’s own room) are below:
- Place random items outside in the green spaces for individuals to identify.
- Make a flower to display in the front door or window for individuals to find as they go on their walk through the community. Where did you see them? Did you like someone’s creation the best?
- Virtual Egg hunt
- Decorate a tree with a variety of springtime items and make a list for individuals to find from their rooms
