The Kendal Corporation Appoints Daniel Rock as Director of Procurement

The Kendal Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Rock as Director of Procurement. In this role, Dan will develop and implement a strategic business plan to support Kendal affiliates’ group purchasing nationwide.

Dan brings with him an extensive background in supply chain management and operations. He previously served as Purchasing Director for Hodell-Natco Industries, overseeing all procurement and inventory operations while managing $30 million in spending with 4,000 suppliers, including 60 international companies in seven countries. Prior to that, he was with the Institute for Transfusion Medicine, a not-for-profit medical blood transfusion company, serving as the Executive Director of Purchasing, Operations and Transportation, where he managed all material and transportation functions.

As the Director of Procurement, Dan’s work will be critical in meeting Kendal’s procurement and purchasing needs. His role involves collaborating with stakeholders, evaluating supplier costs, researching and participating in contract negotiations, and managing vendor relationships. His contributions to Kendal’s procurement capabilities will help to ensure strategic operations and continued success in achieving cost-saving goals for participating Kendal affiliate communities.
