The Numbers Are In: Brand Equity is Growing!

One quarter after the new Kendal brand launch, more people are finding Kendal Affiliates online, staying on websites longer, and reaching out. Here is what that means for every Affiliate and for The Kendal Corporation.

The Kendal brand evolution went live in June, and now that we have a full quarter of online data, we can clearly see real growth. These results are cumulative across all Kendal System websites, from June through August 2026, measured against the same months in 2025.

More of the same traffic is converting System-wide

Visits held steady, down just 0.8%, yet produced a third more filled-out forms. The Kendal System is generating more real inquiries. That is a sign of websites converting better, not simply getting busier.

  • Form submissions +34%. Each one is a visit request, an information request, or someone choosing to make contact.
  • Home page conversions +22%.
  • Mobile conversions +28%. Smartphone web visits are harder to convert, and we saw a big increase.
  • Careers page conversions +17%. So many great places to work, and it shows!
  • Assisted living page conversions +47%.

Above the national benchmark, not just above last year

Growth against past performance is good news. Growth against national benchmarks is even better! Several System-wide results now sit well above benchmarks.

People are finding Kendal by name

Direct visits rose 14%. Direct means someone came straight to a Kendal website: typed the address, used a bookmark, or searched the Kendal name. Not as a result of a campaign sent to them. People only arrive by name if they already know the name. One quarter after launch, that tells us awareness is growing.

System home pages tell the brand story

The home page is the front door of every Kendal website, and it’s the page the brand evolution changed most. Pages where people compare and decide now rank among the most visited System-wide. System home pages were up 203% over 2026’s previous quarter, with residential support/services and contact pages close behind.

Content is working harder too. Blog pages drawing traffic rose 76%, so nearly twice as many Kendal articles and news items are reaching readers.

Spirit Week carried the momentum forward

The Kendal System’s Spirit Week that kicked off in early July, showed the brand in action on social media. On The Kendal Corporation accounts, with no paid promotion behind any of it, Facebook engagement rose 237%, and content views rose 132%. Of that engagement, 43% came from people not already following the page. LinkedIn visitors grew 11.8%., so the stories across both platforms reached well beyond the existing audience and brought new followers. Team members, residents, and members sharing their own stories on social media remain among the most effective ways the Kendal System builds its reputation and drives interest.

Brand evolution launch was the starting line, not the finish line

Some might to assume the brand evolution was finished when the new look went live. That’s not the case. June 2026 was a kick-off. The visual identity is set, and that part is done. What comes next is the work that builds brand equity: keeping awareness, interest, and trust in play across every Affiliate and the system at large. Reputation cannot be launched. It’s something that must continue to evolve and grow, year after year—and we’re in it for the long run.

Huge THANK YOU to everyone across The Kendal System who helped make the launch a success—and for leading the way as we grow into the future. Together, transforming the experience of aging.

Reminder: Kendal LEADINGS e-newsletter builds brand equity System-wide. In September 2026, the inaugural issue of Kendal Leadings went to every team member and to an external audience of aging services leaders, partners, and journalists. This quarterly e-newsletter will always feature Kendal Affiliates and the work being done to transform the experience of aging.

Its reach is national and global, making it one of the most accessible ways the Kendal System builds awareness, reputation, and thought leadership for every Affiliate at once. A rising tide lifts all ships.
