May 13, 2026 —The Kendal Corporation is pleased to announce the promotion of Angela Rafine to Director of Human Resources Operations. In her expanded role, Angela will lead human resources initiatives across the Kendal System, empowering teams to ensure operational excellence while fostering a warm, inclusive and supportive workplace culture for all employees. This vital appointment reinforces Kendal’s deeply held belief that for communities to be good places to live, they must also be good places to work.
Working in the senior living and aging services field spans a wide array of meaningful roles, from healthcare and management to culinary services, finance, marketing and social services. These diverse career paths are united by a shared mission to enhance the lives of older adults. Angela’s promotion adds an essential layer of operational knowledge and leadership to support this broad and dedicated workforce. She will oversee daily human resources functions, including HRIS administration, payroll support, process management, and compliance, optimizing workflows to improve the overall employee experience

Angela has been a dedicated member of the Kendal community for nearly nine years, beginning her journey at Barclay Friends, a Kendal Affiliate, before transitioning to The Kendal Corporation team. With over a decade of experience leading human resources functions, she has consistently aligned operations with broader organizational objectives, always guided by a compassionate, people-centered approach.
