As a leader in senior living and aging services, The Kendal Corporation continuously seeks to evolve to provide high-quality services to residents and members. This work includes keeping an eye on technological advances and innovations that can help ensure the future is bright and successful.

Kendal is exploring new technological advancements to improve process efficiency and supply long-lasting results while providing life-safety benefits for the residents and members of Kendal. Behind the scenes at Kendal, the organization has built relationships with IT strategy partners to investigate investments that can support the communities’ efforts to enhance culinary, health services and other Kendal program offerings to create the transformative experiences that older adults can have at a Kendal community.

You will find cutting-edge technology that benefits staff and residents in Kendal communities across the country. For example, a robotic waiter called Servi operates in the dining areas of Kendal on Hudson and The Admiral at the Lake, providing an extra hand to food service staff members and extra service to dining guests. Voice-activated technology is present in each of The Admiral’s 200 residences providing round-the-clock assistance for daily use and safety features. The Admiral became one of the first retirement communities in the U.S. to adopt and incorporate voice-activated technology. Kendal is discussing the possibility of incorporating this technology in all communities, among other emerging tools.

Residents know their community is part of a strong, best-in-class, values-based system. By understanding and embracing an innovative spirit, Kendal can continue to deliver on this mission.
