Lee Ann Sullivan, Board Member of Kendal Charitable Funds

Lee Ann Sullivan has over 16 years of experience in professional fundraising and is currently serving her second year on the board.

Throughout her career, Lee Ann has developed expertise in grant writing, fundraising and working with non-profit organizations. She began her journey as a grant writer for the Maternal and Child Health Consortium (MCHC) before transitioning to Barclay Friends, a Kendal Affiliate, as their Director of Development.

As an active board member for Kendal Charitable Funds, Lee Ann contributes wherever support is needed and collaborates with fellow board members to further the mission of transforming the aging experience. Lee Ann was able to immediately contribute to the board’s work through her engagement and leadership of the strategic planning work group. And her commitment to Kendal’s mission is personal. When reflecting on her time as Director of Philanthropy, she recalled being struck by the staff’s compassionate nature and taking the time to provide care and create genuine connections.

“It is so rewarding to see the mission actively being carried out and to play a role in that initiative,” Lee Ann said. “Kendal Charitable Funds has a powerful voice for the aging population, and I am excited to continue working to further their mission.”
