More About the Kendal Model
Kendal is uniquely structured as a “federal” or “collaborative” model, in which each Affiliate partner is locally owned and managed by its own Board of Directors.
Each Affiliate is independently operated and, through The Kendal Corporation (TKC), has access to the expertise, deeper bench, and best practices that empower growth and build upon an Affiliate’s strength in its local market. This structure fosters a strong sense of unique identity for each community. It enables strong collaboration within the System, making the success of The Kendal Corporation and Kendal System Affiliates a team effort.
With support from The Kendal Corporation , the Kendal System wields the reputation and strength of a highly respected national brand and the benefits of a larger organization without compromising each community’s autonomy, local market position or unique history.
