October 2, 2025 —It’s been a busy and productive season for hospitality and culinary projects across the Kendal System! Christian Ramsey of TKC has been instrumental in assisting Affiliates with several key initiatives.
Here’s a snapshot of the exciting progress being made:
- Kendal on Hudson: The temporary kitchen is nearing completion, paving the way for the renovation of their existing kitchen and dining room to begin.
- Kendal at Oberlin: Construction is moving rapidly, with the main kitchen and Langston dining room renovation set to finish in Q4.
- Cubigo Launches: We’ve successfully launched Cubigo at Kendal at Hanover and are gearing up for launches at Kendal at Oberlin on September 19th and Kendal at Collington on October 1st.
These projects reflect our commitment to enhancing the dining and hospitality experience for all residents. A big thank you and to all the teams involved for their hard work and dedication!

A huge benefit of the Kendal System is the power of collective strength.
Dan Rock, TKC Director of Procurement, has been active in leveraging our system-wide scale to deliver substantial savings for Affiliates.
Here are a few recent wins:
- Kendal’s Amazon for Business program concluded its first year with a $15K system rebate and an additional $8K saved in membership fees.
- Kendal negotiated a new 7% rebate with Lowe’s, on top of the existing 10% discount.
- Barclay Friends joined our Medline program, unlocking significant savings and paving the way for direct rebate negotiations.
- Kendal secured negotiations for Kendal on Hudson’s project quotes that will save hundreds of thousands of dollars.
- We successfully sourced and negotiated specialized hardware to ensure the timely opening of Enso Village’s Memory Care center.
These are just a few examples of how being part of a larger system creates tangible value and allows our communities to better serve residents.
