A New Chapter for Our Charitable Mission

June 16, 2025 —Dear Friends of Kendal Charitable Funds,

Earlier this year, we shared that the boards of Kendal Charitable Funds (KCF) and The Kendal Corporation were discussing how we could align our efforts to better serve our shared mission.

We are pleased to share that, as of June 11, KCF has formally merged into The Kendal Corporation. The spirit and intention of KCF’s mission will now be under the purview of a newly formed committee – the Advancement Committee – as part of The Kendal Corporation’s board. This milestone reflects a thoughtful alignment of our charitable efforts, ensuring they continue with clarity, efficiency, and shared purpose.

As this new structure takes shape over the next several months, the Advancement Committee will be developed to guide future grantmaking and philanthropic priorities. In the meantime, there will be a pause on affiliate grants and other activities as we enter an evaluation period. Please know that our process is driven by our shared commitment to advancing the tenets of KCF’s mission and continuing the charitable work that so many of you have helped make possible.

This begins a new chapter that builds on decades of shared success. We remain deeply grateful to our partners, donors, and friends, and we look forward to sharing more updates in the months ahead.
