Barclay Friends offers residential living, assisted living and skilled nursing for older adults, all on one campus. Residential living and assisted living are available in its community called Woolman. Applicants who qualify can be admitted on a per-diem basis or may choose a continuing care contract. Skilled nursing care and rehabilitative therapies are available, on a per-diem basis or as part of the continuing care contract, in the adjacent community named Cotter, which offers an innovative neighborhood design.

Barclay Friends' award-winning arts and horticultural therapy program, called "Cultivate the Arts and Gardens", encourages the expression of creativity, spirituality, personal opinion, knowledge and personal growth. A variety of unique garden areas surround the community, are fully accessible, and enrich daily life for residents and staff.

Borden Center offers direct admission for rehabilitation therapies and services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy which are typically covered by Medicare and other insurances. In addition Borden Center offers aquatic therapy, respite care*, end of life care, and long term care services.

* Respite care is the provision of short-term, temporary relief to those who are caring for family members who might otherwise require permanent placement in a facility outside the home.
