Directions to The Kendal Corporation

The Kendal Corporation is located on Route 1, near the village of Hamorton, between Chadds Ford and Kennett Square. Our telephone number: 610-335-1200.

From Harrisburg, PA: Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike East (I-76) to Exit 312 (Downingtown--formerly Exit 23), then take Route 100 South to Route 202 South to Route 1 South. Take Route 1 South for approximately 6 miles, through Chadds Ford and past the Chadds Ford Animal Hospital (on the right). The next traffic light will be the entrance to Kendal (on the right).
From Southwest Philadelphia, PA: Take Route 1 South (City Line Avenue in Philadelphia, which becomes Old Baltimore Pike). Pass the intersection with Route 202 and continue on Route 1 South for approximately 6 more miles, through Chadds Ford and past the Chadds Ford Animal Hospital (on the right). The next traffic light will be the entrance to Kendal (on the right).
From Northwest Philadelphia, PA: Take I-76 West (Schuykill Expressway) to I-476 South to Route 1 South. Pass the intersection with Route 202 and continue on Route 1 South for approximately 6 more miles, through Chadds Ford and past the Chadds Ford Animal Hospital (on the right). The next traffic light will be the entrance to Kendal (on the right).
From East Philadelphia, PA and Airport: Take I-95 South to Route 322 West (Exit 3A) to Route 1 South. Pass the intersection with Route 202 and continue on Route 1 South for approximately 6 more miles, through Chadds Ford and past the Chadds Ford Animal Hospital (on the right). The next traffic light will be the entrance to Kendal (on the right).
From Wilmington, DE: Take Route 52 North into Pennsylvania then Route 1 North. Go about 1/4 mile to the first traffic light and turn left, into the entrance to Kendal.
From Baltimore, MD & Washington, DC: Take I-95 North to Wilmington, DE. Take Exit #7 for Route 52 North & Delaware Avenue, turn left at the 4th traffic light onto Delaware Avenue North & Route 52. Stay on Route 52 North for 11 miles; turn right onto Route 1 North. Go about 1/4 mile to the first traffic light and turn left into the entrance to Kendal. (CAUTION: I-95 thru Wilmington is under reconstruction, so exit information may be inaccurate.)
From New Jersey: Take Route I-295 South to Route 322 West across the Commodore Barry Bridge into Pennsylvania, then stay on Route 322 West (which becomes I-95 South for a short distance but then branches off to the right as 322 West) to Route 1 South. Pass the intersection with Route 202 and continue on Route 1 South for approximately 6 more miles, through Chadds Ford and past the Chadds Ford Animal Hospital (on the right). The next traffic light will be the entrance to Kendal (on the right).

From New York City: Take the NJ Turnpike to Exit 6, toward I-276/PA Turnpike. Merge onto New Jersey Turnpike Exit, which becomes I-276 W/Pennsylvania Turnpike. Take the Turnpike to I-476 South toward Philadelphia/Chester. Take exit 5 off I-476 and merge onto Route 1 South toward Lima. Take the exit toward Kennett Square. Follow Route 1 (approx 19 miles) to the entrance to Kendal on the right at the traffic light.

As you enter the community you will immediately come to a T intersection. Turn left and watch for the sign that says Worth Center on your left. Turn left at the sign and park in the parking lot to the left. Worth Center, a stone farmhouse, is located down the hill and to the right at the end of the driveway.
